A nationwide initiative, this is a commemoration of the famous ride of Paul Revere along with other riders to warn patriot leaders on an overnight ride on April 18, 1775. Their goal was to alert Samuel Adams and John Hancock in Lexington, and colonial militias in nearby towns about the approach of British troops before the Battles of Lexington and Concord, thus sparking the Revolutionary War. Two Lights for Tomorrow uses the imagery of those two shining lights as a uniting call for our citizens to celebrate and serve.
